Seven years ago Sumayya wanted something absolutely special for her daughter’s 1st birthday cake. A cake that not only looked fantastic, but was made with the freshest ingredients. Home-bakers were quite rare in her town at the time, so she decided to take up the challenge herself…a decision that would launch her into the world of baked goodies. With one sweet success accomplished, she set out to create some more. Thus, Cakes and Bakes was born.
